Bzgl. NE: Noble Corp.: Liquidity Continues To Decline - SeekingAlpha Artikel von Vladimir Zernov. Folgende Zahlen habe ich ungeprüft übernommen:

"The 15% consolidated net tangible assets covenants calculate as follows: ($8.28 billion (total assets) - $517 million (current liabilities))*15% = $1.165 billion."

Operator shortens Middle East gig for Shelf Drilling’s jack-up rig - A contract for the Shelf Drilling-owned jack-up drilling rig operating in the Middle East has been changed to end sooner than previously agreed. The rig owner said on Wednesday that it had entered into a mutual agreement with the customer to amend the contract end date for the Shelf Drilling Tenacious from January 2022 to September 2020.

Tja, und direkt ein kleines Gegenbeispiel gefunden: i3 Energy plc, an independent oil and gas company with assets and operations in the UK, is pleased to announce the following update.

Zitat

19 March 2020 - i3 Energy plc ("i3" or the "Company") - Drilling Contract and Sale of Economic Interest in Block 13/23c

Drilling Contract - The Company has entered into a drilling contract with Dolphin Drilling Limited ("Dolphin") to utilise either the Borgland Dolphin or Blackford Dolphin semi-submersible drilling rig for a minimum 82-day programme which is due to commence not later than 1st September 2020 or as otherwise agreed between the parties (the "2020 Campaign"), and also has the ability to be extended for a period of 78 days (the "Option Programme"). The contract is conditional on i3 confirming availability of funds to satisfy its obligations under the contract, 90 days prior to drilling commencement.

i3's current minimum programme for the appraisal drilling consists of two appraisal wells on Serenity plus a sidetrack on each well, contingent on drilling outcomes, at a total expected gross cost of approximately US$33 million. The Option Programme would include wells on the Minos High structure and the Liberator West area in Block 13/23c.

Sale of Economic Interest in Block 13/23c - In concert with the abovementioned drilling contract, i3 has agreed that Dolphin will earn up to a 10% economic interest (the "Dolphin Interest") in Block 13/23c via a Net Revenue Sharing Agreement (the "NRSA") in exchange for Dolphin forgoing its Profit Margin above its Opex, up to a maximum amount of US$14.4 million (the "Dolphin Commitment"). Accordingly, the Dolphin Commitment will cover approximately 22% of the total expected gross costs of each of the 2020 Campaign and Option Programme.

Zitat

Dolphin Drilling wins contract extension and agrees to enter multi-year strategic alliance with i3 Energy

Global contractor Dolphin Drilling has announced a two-month contract extension with i3 Energy for use of the Borgland Dolphin semi-submersible drilling rig and agreed to enter into a four-year strategic operations agreement between both companies.

Majid Shafiq, Chief Executive Officer in i3 Energy, said: “We have been very impressed with Dolphin Drilling as a company and the Borgland Dolphin rig. The excellent performance and flexibility of its approach has given us the confidence to agree to enter into a long-term strategic operations agreement with Dolphin Drilling where it will be our first choice rig supplier for future campaigns.

Valaris meldet ebenfalls vorzeitige Vertragsbeendigungen.

In der Meldung steht außerdem:

Zitat

The Company has loss of hire insurance for $602,500 per day after the expiration of a 45-day deductible waiting period through the end of the contract in November 2020. If the contract is terminated, the Company will seek to recover losses incurred in accordance with the terms of this insurance policy, which would largely offset the lost backlog noted above. There can be no assurance as to the timing or amount of insurance proceeds paid to the Company.

Zitat

The Company expects to receive additional notices of contract terminations and requests to renegotiate contract day rates and terms in light of increased market uncertainty.

Zitat

Since the beginning of March, VALARIS JU-87 was awarded a one-well contract with Cox in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico that commenced in mid-March, with an estimated duration of 30 days that added approximately $1 million of contracted revenue backlog.

Zitat

For the period between the Company’s fleet status report that was filed on February 13, 2020 and the beginning of March, the Company executed the following new contracts and contract extensions with associated revenue backlog of approximately $100 million:

VALARIS MS-1 awarded a three-well contract with Santos offshore Australia that is expected to commence in first quarter 2021, with an estimated duration of 155 days.

VALARIS 8505 awarded a one-well contract with Lukoil Upstream Mexico that is expected to commence in mid-November, with an estimated duration of 80 days.

VALARIS JU-118 (Joe Douglas) awarded a three-well contract with Fieldwood offshore Mexico that commenced in mid-March, with an estimated duration of 425 days.

VALARIS JU-144 (EXL II) awarded a two-well contract with Fieldwood offshore Mexico that is expected to commence in April, with an estimated duration of 200 days.

--> 80k Dayrate JU x 625 Tage = 50 Mio USD

---> 200k Dayrate Semi x 235 Tage = 47 Mio USD

Vietnam • Noble Clyde Boudreaux – Early June 2020 to Late July 2020.

Qatar • Noble Mick O’Brien – Late March 2020 to Late August 2020 (extension).

Informationen zur jetzigen Situation veröffentlicht: Borr Drilling Limited – Update on contracts and operations

Borr Drilling Limited (the “Company”) (NYSE: “BORR”, OSE: “BDRILL”) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded LOAs for work in the Asia Pacific region for two of its premium jack ups, of which one is a newbuild being activated. The contracts’ estimated duration, excluding options, will be for 365 days and 200 days respectively. The rigs are expected to commence contracts in the third quarter of 2020.

The Company has received notices of early termination of contracts from Exxon Mobil for the rigs “Gerd” and “Groa” which are working in Nigeria under contracts originally committed until April 2021 and May 2021, respectively. The contracts for both rigs require 180 days notice for early termination. The Company is in discussions with Exxon Mobil with regards to planning the discontinuity of operations for both rigs following the early termination notices.

The Company has received notice to stop operations for the “Norve”, working in Gabon for BW Energy. The rig finished operations in early April 2020, around three months before previously estimated.

The Company has received a notice of early termination for the semi-submersible “MSS1” which finished its contract on 25 March 2020, one month earlier than previously estimated. The rig is entitled to an early termination fee as per contract provisions.

Following its campaign with Neptune, the “Prospector 5” has safely arrived in Harwich. The Company received notification from its follow-on customer, Perenco, electing not to proceed with the previously announced contract for the rig. The rig is scheduled to commence operation for CNOOC in the North Sea between September and November 2020.

The net impact of the new contracts and the early termination of the existing contracts is estimated to affect the total revenue backlog negatively by approximately USD 16 million.

Under the terms of the indenture governing the Notes, the interest payment was due on April 15, 2020, and the Company has a 30-day grace period to make the payment. Non-payment of the interest on the due date is not an event of default under the indenture governing the Notes but would become an event of default if the payment is not made within the 30-day grace period. During the grace period, the Company is not permitted to borrow additional amounts under the Credit Agreement (as defined below).

Idle North Sea oil rigs point to fresh crisis

The Cromarty Firth, a sheltered stretch of water leading out to the North Sea, became a barometer of the health of the UK’s oil and gas industry after the last oil price crash of 2014, when it turned into something of a rig graveyard.  Now the number of rigs stored in the Cromarty Firth is again on the rise as the North Sea battles a dual crisis, the extent of which industry veterans admit they have never seen before.

Sixteen idle rigs are in the Cromarty Firth, surpassing the average of 12 recorded in 2016 when the last crisis reached a nadir. Of those, nine still have a small crew on board ready to be deployed if work arises but seven are unlikely to be leaving any time soon. The Port of Cromarty Firth is in negotiations with operators about potentially storing a further five. Other Scottish ports with strong links to the oil industry, such as Dundee, are also storing rigs.

Beach Energy Ends Diamond Offshore Drilling Rig Deal Citing Late Arrival Date

"The semi-submersible Ocean Onyx rig arrived in Victorian state waters in mid-April for commencement of the Victorian Otway Basin offshore drilling campaign. As the arrival date was later than had been agreed and specified in the rig contract, Beach exercised its right to terminate the agreement," Beach Energy explained.

"Beach has a good working relationship with Diamond and its other service providers. All parties are engaging in discussions with regard to the future operations of the Ocean Onyx rig and the Victorian Otway Basin offshore drilling campaign, with a view to agreeing a new contract in due course," Beach Energy said.

"This process will take into consideration executing the drilling campaign during the COVID-19 epidemic and associated restrictions. Beach’s preliminary assessment is that offshore drilling is unlikely to commence until FY21, with the exact timing to be agreed as part of any new contracting process," Beach Energy added.

Hm muss man sehen.

Zitat

On April 17, 2020, Noble Corporation plc, a public limited company incorporated under the laws of England and Wales (the “Company”), agreedwith the lender that financed its purchases of the Noble Joe Knight and Noble Johnny Whitstine rigs to pay off the related seller loans (the “SellerLoans”) in exchange for a discount to the outstanding loan balance. The Company made a payment in the amount of 85% of the outstanding principalamount of the Seller Loans plus accrued and unpaid interest, and upon the lender’s receipt of such payment, the remaining principal balance under eachSeller Loan was reduced to $1.00, interest ceased accruing, and the financial covenants ceased to apply. As long as certain events specified in the relateddeed of release do not occur within the 90-day period following the payment date, then the Seller Loans will be terminated, and all security will bereleased. Following the close of the transaction, the Company borrowed $100 million on its 2017 Credit Facility, increasing pro forma borrowingsoutstanding to $545 million, with the ability to borrow up to an additional $297 million.

Diamond Offshore Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc. filed for bankruptcy protection Sunday, as the plunge in oil prices and the downturn in business activity because of the coronavirus pandemic have sapped demand for its offshore drilling services.

(Wirklich) Ganz naiv gefragt:
